South Bend, Indiana, June 7, 2016 – American Green Technology (AGT), an innovator in healthcare and industrial lighting products, is introducing the Company’s new product brand VidaShield™ at the largest infection prevention conference in the world, APIC 2016, June 11-13, in Charlotte, NC.
VidaShield not only replaces the former brand HRMS, but it reflects the evolution of the product and the Company’s vision for the future where microorganisms can be neutralized from treated air and cleaner environments prevail.
Today the patented VidaShield provides fast, continuous UV-C air purification that reduces bacteria and fungi from treated air. It also reduces the settling of viable bacteria and fungi from treated air on surfaces and reduces odors. The innovative design allows for 24/7 operation in occupied spaces by being conveniently installed in ceilings where it also acts as a lighting fixture.
VidaShield is designed for use in hospitals, long term care facilities, nursing homes, schools, commercial office buildings and any other location where cleaner environmental air is desired.
The new VidaShield name and logo represents strength and protection. While the brand, logo and marketing tools may have changed, the science has not. The VidaShield product has been successfully used in research studies at various acute care hospitals, children’s hospitals, treatment facilities, medical offices and other locations around the globe.
According to Danny Bogar, CEO of AGT, “VidaShield was founded on the principal of doing what is right for patients and healthcare workers around the globe. We serve all customers with a sense of urgency, respect and excellence. Our philosophy of constant and never-ending improvement will continue. Our focus is providing the healthcare sector with a healthier environment through better air, because everyone deserves clean air.”
